ArmInfo. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank and the All-Armenian Fund "Armenia" within the framework of the joint program "Green Sources of Solar Energy" assist the "SOS Children's Villages" Foundation to install 14 solar water heaters with a capacity of 500 liters.
According to the press service of the Bank, the first stage of the program provides for the installation of solar water heaters, after which the construction of a solar photovoltaic power plant will start.
As a result of using alternative energy sources, the Ijevan "SOS Children's Village" will not only reduce heating and heating costs by 100%, but also significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the environment.
The program is realized with the funds accumulated on VISA Charity cards issued within the framework of the partnership of ACBA-Credit Agricole with the All-Armenian Fund "Armenia". Particularly, ACBA- Credit Agricole Bank transfers part of the proceeds from non-cash transactions of cardholders "VISA Charitable" to the "Armenia" All-Armenian Fund, and various large charitable programs are regularly implemented on these accumulated funds.
