ArmInfo.Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is on an official visit to Sweden, met with the leadership of the leading analytical centers of the country - the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), the Swedish Institute of International Relations, the Center for Peace Studies (PCR) of Uppsala University, Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation.
According to the press service of Armenian MFA, Nalbandian presented Armenia's foreign policy priorities, touched upon the Armenian-Swedish relations, as well as the steps taken to develop them.
The Armenian Foreign Minister highly appreciated the cooperation with Sweden in both bilateral and multilateral formats, stressing the importance of cooperation in the Armenia-EU relations, in particular, within the framework of the Eastern Partnership. In this context, the Armenian Minister touched upon the signing of an agreement between Armenia and the European Union on a comprehensive and expanded partnership, as well as prospects for cooperation within its framework. Nalbandian presented the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs on an exclusively peaceful settlement, as well as the approaches of the Republic on a number of topical regional and international issues.
