ArmInfo.An earthquake took place in the Vayots Dzor region of Armenia. According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the earthquake occurred on February 25 at 17:02 local time.
Coordinates of the earthquake are 39.730 degrees north latitude and 45.110 degrees east longitude - 8 km south from Elpin village. "The focal point lay at a depth of 10 km, the magnitude of the earthquake was 3.3, the force of the shocks in the epicenter was 4-5 points. In the villages of Chiva and Elpin, the force of the shocks was 3-4 points, and in the city of Yeghegnadzor - 3 points," the Republic of Armenia MES report reads.
