According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, no precipitation is expected on the territory of the republic on February 1 during the day, as well as from February 2 to 5. On the night of February 1, light snow is expected in some regions. The Vardenyats pass is closed, the Sotk-Karvachar road is difficult to cross. In the Syunik region, as well as in the cities of Spitak and Vanadzor, the Lori region, on the roads, there is a sleet in some places. "Proceeding from unfavorable weather conditions, we ask drivers to move exclusively on winter tires," the ministry said. At the same time, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia referring to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Ministry of Emergencies of South Ossetia informs that the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for passage of all types of vehicles.
