ArmInfo. On January 25, according to the agreement reached with the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic), the OSCE mission conducted a routine monitoring of the ceasefire regime on the contact line between the armed forces of Artsakh and Azerbaijan, north of the Talish village of the Martakert region.
The Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office (OSCE), Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, his field assistants Mikhail Olaru (Moldova) and Ognjen Jovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), monitored the position of the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh. On the opposite side of the contact line, the observation was made by Field Assistant of the OSCE Gennadiy Petrik (Moldova) and an employee of t LDPU office Martin Schuster (Germany).
The monitoring was conducted in accordance with the schedule. However, due to thick fog, it was not possible to establish visual contact between the observation groups on both sides of the contact line. The observation mission from the Artsakh side was accompanied by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh.
