ArmInfo. As a rule, before and after negotiations, Baku is becoming more active. This was stated in the conversation with journalists by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan on January 25 after the meeting of the government.
The deputy minister called for the last attempt of sabotage penetration of the Azerbaijani armed forces on the contact line with the NKR in the context of dissatisfaction with some results of the meeting of Nalbandyan-Mammadyarov in Krakow. According to him, in this case, one can make only one assumption that the outcome of the last ministerial meeting, at which Azerbaijan was forced to take certain steps aimed at expanding the group of Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk, is not profitable for that country. "Azerbaijan, thus, expresses its dissatisfaction, but, on the other hand, Baku is compelled to go to the steps outlined by the Vienna agreements," Kocharian noted. Commenting on the statements of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev that Azerbaijan is not limited in arms purchases from the Russian Federation, and the possible response of Yerevan to this, Shavarsh Kocharyan stated:
"There are so many statements from Azerbaijan, and Armenia, in its turn, does everything possible to preserve the military balance, including the use of the capabilities of an ally - RF, and gets weapons at much lower prices. " Earlier, ArmInfo informed that on January 25 at 02.00 in the south-eastern direction of the confrontation line in the vicinity of the settlement of Kuropatkino the units of the Defense Army recorded another attempt of sabotage penetration by the armed forces of Azerbaijan. As a result of the preventive measures taken, the enemy was thrown back to the starting positions, bearing, according to preliminary data, losses. Details are being specified.
