113 trucks stopped at the checkpoint of Upper Lars

ArmInfo. As of 10.00 on the 25th of January, all motor roads of Armenia are mostly passable. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to the source, the road Sotk-Karvachar, as well as the Vardenjac Pass, is difficult to traverse.

One-way traffic is established on the 30th kilometer of the Getap-Martuni road due to the icy conditions for trucks. In the cities of Bird, Noyemberyan, Dilijan in the Tvush region and in the town of Jermuk, Vayots Dzor region, it is snowing. On the Sotk-Karvachar road and on the Vardenjac pass, there is a sleet. The Armenian Emergency Ministry again calls on drivers to use only winter tires. According to the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the motor road Ninotsminda - Lars is closed only for trucks. As of 10.00 on January 25, 113 trucks have accumulated on the Russian side of the checkpoint.
