ArmInfo. In Armenia, mechanisms for registration of rights to movable property will be expanded. Amendments to the law "On Secured Rights for Registration of Movable Property" were made at the meeting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on January 16 in the second and final reading.
As the First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Artur Hovhannisian noted in his speech, today in Armenia there is a system of registration of movable property, according to which any citizen of the country, secured with the rights to this property, has the opportunity to register it on a legal site. However, in addition to this category of registration of legal rights by each specific rightholder, there is another category - the person's application to the notary office for the registration of these rights. In this case, a person must have an ID-card and an electronic signature and only with the help of this mechanism can register, and only in the absence of an ID card contact the notary offices.
Now it is proposed to expand the system of registration of rights to movable property, without restricting the process to these two mechanisms alone, adding the agency of the state register, which will also receive rights to register rights to movable property on the basis of a claim by the rights holder . In addition, similar rights will be granted to lawyers' offices, as well as to state operators.
