At the same time, he stressed that official Stepanakert repeatedly stated the need to implement concrete steps to strengthen confidence-building measures between the parties, including the introduction of confidence-building mechanisms on the contact line, the expansion of the mandate of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, the establishment of contacts at the level of civil societies of the two countries, the diversion of snipers from the line of contact, the implementation of certain projects on the sharing of water resources.
