ArmInfo. Conflicts in the OSCE region are not alike, the principles and norms for their settlement differ. According to the Armenian MFA, the Permanent Representative of Armenia to the Organization Arman Kirakosyan stated at the meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna on January 11. And from this point of view, he highly appreciated the position of the Italian chairmanship in the OSCE, to promote the activities of certain formats of conflict resolution. Kirakosian stressed that Armenia supports the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of three well-known principles: non-use of force, territorial integrity, the right of peoples to self-determination. In the course of the speech,the parties stressed the importance of implementing measures to reduce tensions on the contact line, including the expansion of the mandate of the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office and the introduction of mechanisms to investigate border incidents, as well as the need to remove snipers. Referring to Armenia's readiness to continue cooperation with the OSCE after the closure of the Organization's Yerevan office, Kirakosyan stressed the importance of implementing the OSCE project "Cooperation with Armenia" and promoting the Italian Chairmanship.
