Instant transfers from Russian cards to VTB Bank (Armenia) cards

ArmInfo. VTB Group launched instant money transfers for cardholders of VTB Bank (Armenia) from cards of any Russian bank. As ArmInfo was explained in the press  service of the Bank, a new service is available at https://perevod.vtb24.ru.

To make a transfer to the sender it is enough to go to the link  https://perevod.vtb24.ru, available on the main page of VTB Bank  (Armenia), specify the transfer amount and the details of the sender  and receiver cards. Transfers are made in Russian rubles, the funds  are credited to VTB Bank (Armenia) card in rubles, with a ruble  account attached to the card (basically all VTB Bank (Armenia) cards  have 4 accounts attached to the card in AMD currencies ), USD  (dollar), EUR (euro) and RUB (ruble).

According to the source, the minimum amount of transfer for one day  is 100 rubles, the maximum amount is 100 thousand rubles. A  commission of 1% min 75 rubles (for Mastercard cards) and min 150  rubles (for Visa cards) is charged for making a transfer from the  sender of the transfer, and receiving a transfer is free of charge  for the recipient.

Within the framework of the new service, the owners of any cards  issued by Russian banks around the clock and instantly can transfer  money to VTB Bank (Armenia) cards. In this case, the sender and  receiver cards must be issued on the basis of Visa or MasterCard  payment systems.

"Considering the specifics of the Armenian market, the large Armenian  diaspora abroad, especially in the Russian Federation and a  significant share of transfers to the country's GDP, the launch of  comfortable money transfer services is important for maintaining the  Bank's competitive positions. The uniqueness of the new proposal is  that there is no need to visit the Bank's branches for both senders  and recipients, the instantaneous transfers, round-the-clock and the  minimum necessary data for filling," commented VTB Bank (Armenia).

According to the 16th issue of the analytical review "Armenian Banks  in Card Business" prepared by NA ArmInfo, VTB Bank (Armenia) holds  the leading position in terms of the number of active cards, both  general and MasterCard and Visa, as well as the volume of plastic  transactions. So, on October 1, 2017, the Bank has almost 334  thousand cards, of which over 181 thousand are MasterCard. For 9  months of 2017, the volume of plastic transactions on VTB Bank  (Armenia) cards was 181.2 billion AMD, of which about 93% or 167.2  billion are ATM transactions. The Bank managed to increase the volume  of plastic transactions in the annual cut by 13.5%, and ATM  transactions by 14%. Until 2013, VTB Bank (Armenia) issued and  serviced only international VISA cards, and since September of that  year, becoming a full member of the international payment system  MasterCard Worldwide, started issuing and servicing Cirrus / Maestro  and MasterCard cards, along with servicing and local ArCa cards.
