ArmInfo. The National Security Service of Armenia initiated a criminal case against a US citizen on charges of attempting to organize terrorist acts on the territory of Armenia.

"At the same  time, the same page spread propaganda about the use of violence  against various Armenian political and legal entities, thus creating  a general climate of fear." According to preliminary information  received, RK, with the aim of destabilizing the situation in Armenia,  terrorizing the population, the provision of unlawful pressure on  state structures to attract people to arson, explosions and other  acts of public violence aimed at causing death or serious bodily harm  to the representative Armenian law enforcement bodies and other  officials tried to create criminal cooperation, involving both  Armenian residents and Armenians living abroad, by collecting people,  and received information that he also called for organizing terrorist  acts in Armenia acts, providing both directions and means for their  implementation," the ministry said.
