The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, with reference to the Department of Emergencies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, reports that the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles. According to the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations, on December 4, as of 09:00, Armenia has no closed and difficult roads.
At the same time, according to the Armenian weather forecasters, from 4-5 December the weather is expected without precipitation, in the second half of the 6th, 7th and at night of the 8th in most regions, in the afternoon of the 8th in the southern regions there will be precipitation, in mountain areas - in the form of snow, in foothill areas and valleys - in the form of wet snow and snow rain. The wind is southwesterly with gusts up to 3-8 m / s. On December 4, the air temperature will not change significantly; at night, on the 5th and 6th, it will rise by 4-5 degrees, during the day of the 6th and from 7-8 it will go down by 5-7 degrees.
In the Armenian capital from 4-5 and on the 8th of December, the weather is expected without precipitation, in the second half of the 6th, 7th, at night the 8th time will be observed precipitation: in the elevated areas - in the form of a snow rain, in lowlands - in the form of rain. Based on the expected unfavorable weather conditions, the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Armenia recommends drivers to travel to regions of the republic on cars equipped exclusively with winter tires.
