ArmInfo.Armenian-Russian relations are developing in all directions and are allied. On this eve in St. Petersburg during a meeting with the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, Vyacheslav Makarov, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov said.
According to the press service of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, during the meeting the sides stressed the importance of developing allied relations between two states, expressing readiness for more active participation in strengthening bilateral relations.
The RA National Asembly Vice Speaker expressed gratitude to Vyacheslav Makarov for organizing a commemorative event dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the death of the son of the Armenian people, Mikael Loris-Melikov. He noted that this is another reason to emphasize the contribution of the Armenians to the socio-political and cultural life of Russia and, in particular, of St. Petersburg.
At the end of the meeting, Eduard Sharmazanov invited Vyacheslav Makarov to visit Armenia in December this year.
