Yerevan State University students continue protests against the bill  on abolition of the postponement of compulsory military service .  

ArmInfo. It has been already three days  that  the students of Yerevan State University continue their strike of protest against the bill on the abolition of the postponement of compulsory military service.

Students intend to continue the protest until the bill is removed  from the agenda. They believe that the adoption of this bill will  seriously damage the system and the quality of higher education in  Armenia.  Participants of the action also assured that many teachers  support their position, however, the university administration exerts  pressure on them.

The leadership of the university both today and on the eve tried to  obstruct the implementation of the action, in particular, by ordering  to close the doors of all buildings and not to let students out.
