ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received members of the delegation of the Mexican Parliament led by the head of the Mexico-Armenia friendship group Blanka Margarita Kuata Dominguez. The press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry told ArmInfo.
Nalbandian expressed the conviction that such visits give new quality and substance to bilateral relations.
The Mexican deputies spoke about the impressions received from the visit to Artsakh.
Nalbandian welcomed the visit of Mexican MPs to Artsakh and noted the importance of making such visits, which allow on-site familiarization with the situation and make an objective presentation.
The parties expressed the conviction that the visit of the deputies will give a new impetus to the Armenian- Mexican inter-parliamentary relations, which in turn will promote the strengthening of interstate relations.
Touching upon the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Mexico, Nalbandian noted that Yerevan is interested in developing friendly relations with Mexico, and effective cooperation, both in bilateral and multilateral formats. From this point of view, the interlocutors noted the existence of a serious potential for intensifying economic cooperation and identifying new areas for cooperation.
The Armenian Foreign Minister presented the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs on an exclusively peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
