ArmInfo. The publication of 357 pages of the text of the Armenia- EU Agreement excludes any speculation about its content. Of course, only in theory. Such a view was expressed by its founder Stepan Safaryan during a round table organized by the Armenian Institute of International Affairs and Security.
On November 24, 2017 at the Brussels summit of the "Eastern Partnership" Armenia plans to sign a partnership document on the partnership with the EU, which was initialed on March 21 - the Agreement on Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership. The relevant talks were initiated by the Council of Foreign Ministers of the EU on October 12, 2015 in Luxembourg.
"I think that if you read this text, it becomes clear to any person what the EU can expect from Armenia, and it is in this, the absence of overestimated expectations, perhaps the main difference between this document and the registration of Armenia's membership in the EAEU." Some representatives of the ruling party in Armenia linked with membership in the EAEU even de facto Artsakh's membership in this organization, "he noted.
According to the analyst, at the same time, the document to be signed is very far from its content, which regulates the relations between Yerevan and Brussels. Thus, the wording of the Comprehensive and Expanded Partnership Agreement is blurred in comparison with the clear language of the Association Agreement. "However, in any case, the document is for Armenia the opportunity to talk with Europe in one language, but this is a painting that has not been finished yet and today the question is whether the parties will want to do it in accordance with our expectations," Safaryan concluded.
