Sharmazanov: International structures must condemn Azerbaijan`s use of ATGM "Spike" on the front line

ArmInfo. Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of Aarmenia Eduard Sharmazanov and Mexican deputies of Blanka Margarita Kuata Dominguez, Maria Cristina Teresa Garcia Bravo, Carlos Hernandez Miron, who are on a visit to Artsakh, met with the Chairman of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Gulyan.

As ArmInfo was told in the press service of the Armenian parliament, Sharmazanov stressed the importance of visits of foreign deputies to Artsakh.

"This is another step towards the international recognition of the Republic of Artsakh." Thanks to such visits, the democratic and independent Artsakh and the freedom-loving spirit of the Artsakh people become more understandable to the world, "he said.  At the same time, Sharmazanov strongly condemned yet another ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan, adding that even after the Geneva meeting this state is not ready for constructive steps. The Vice Speaker of the National Assembly also condemned the use of Israeli controlled ATGM "Spike" on the contact line, which made the criminal essence of Azerbaijan obvious. In his opinion, international structures are obliged to condemn Azerbaijan's use of these missiles.

He also touched upon efforts to present the problem of recognition of Artsakh in the international structures and stressed: "The parliamentarians of the National Assembly will continue to use the necessary levers for the full promotion of the just demand of the Artsakh people on various parliamentary platforms."

It should be noted that on October 22 and 23, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces struck at Karabakh positions from the PTRK "Spike". These actions of the Bauc are in conflict with the agreements reached between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan at the summit in Geneva on October 16. It should be noted that the parties agreed to make efforts to further reduce tension on the front line with the aim  to exclude casualties.
