Armen Martirosyan confirmed the information that there are already meetings with some representatives of the list of Zhirayr Sefilyan

ArmInfo. Representatives of the Heritage Party included in the list of the hero of the Artsakh war Zhirayr Sefilyan, who was arrested on charges of illegally storing and acquiring arms and ammunition, positively regard his idea of consolidating active opposition figures in order to implement the change of power in the country.

Armen Martirosyan, deputy chairman of Heritage, told ArmInfo correspondent that he and his party member David Sanasaryan had already participated in one meeting with some figures included in the list of Sefilyan. "We all understand that at the moment the situation in Armenia has reached the most critical point.On our meeting we discussed the most acute and pressing problems in the country." They shared their views on the ways of changing the situation, "Martirosyan stressed, noting that he believes in something that changes can be achieved peacefully, but it is not known when this goal will be achieved. Martirosyan admitted at the same time that Heritage party leader Raffi Hovhannisyan did not attend the meeting, since he is currently outside the republic.

The deputy chairman of the Heritage party stressed that so far the meetings are not being held in full, since many figures included in the list of Sefilyan are now abroad. "At the moment there is no Vardan Oskanian and Raffi Hovanisyan in the country, but when all the representatives of the list gather, we will again be able to hold a meeting," Armen Martirosyan concluded, adding that there is currently no information about ex-minister of defense Seyran Ohanyan .

Meanwhile, the leader of the "Yerkir Zirani" party Zaruhi Postanjyan, also included in the list of Sefilyan, told ArmInfo that she does not share the approaches of the hero of the Artsakh war. She said that she does not recognize the lists, and for her now the main thing is to promote the ideas and principles of her party.

Recall that the opposition leader, the leader of the New Armenia movement, Zhirayr Sefilyan, published in September 2017 a list of 31 figures, which included people who, in his opinion, could unite, consolidate the people and implement a change of government in the name of saving the country. He said that Serzh Sargsyan is pursuing a colonial and genocidal policy and at such rates the country will soon collapse. Jirayr Sefilyan's list includes former Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, leader of the Elk faction Nikol Pashinyan, Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovhannisyan, political expert, head of the Modus Vivendi public organization Ara Papyan and others.
