ArmInfo.Today's geopolitical realities are characterized by the logic of unipolar world governance on the part of the United States, which is striving for a more rigid world domination. This opinion was voiced by Hayk Nagapetyan, Coordinator of the initiative "For Restoring Sovereignty" at a conference on Western influence on political processes in Armenia.
According to the expert, the US mainly exports its dominant role in the countries of developing democracy through the Soros fund, financing various "anti-government" projects under the guise of democratic reforms.
He recalled that in a number of countries, in the same Russia, the activities of organizations financed by the Soros Foundation are limited. Further, he He listed a list of Armenian organizations that are funded by the Soros Foundation and, according to the expert's definition, are deploying "anti-popular" activities. Among them are several organizations headed by journalists and well-known human rights defenders, who, according to the data, received from the fund from $ 150 thousand to $ 700 thousand.
It is from the submission of these organizations, the expert assured, that the government and the parliament of the Republic of Armenia have submitted bills aimed at legalizing the rights of persons with a "perverted way of life" in all spheres of public life. These bills are the bill "On the Prevention of Family Violence and Protection of Persons Subjected to Family Violence" and "Against Discrimination". The next direction, which is serviced by some of these organizations, according to Nagapetyan, is anti-Russian, anti-Eurasian propaganda and creation of hotbeds of instability in the country. Summarizing his speech, he expressed concern over the fact that such pressure on the Government and the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia significantly increases in order to get them to come up with a legislative initiative and pass laws on "Prevention of family violence and protection of persons subjected to domestic violence" and "Against discrimination", as well as to sign and ratify the Istanbul Convention "On preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence".
Hayk Ayvazyan, head of the information and analytical center "Luys", said that such organizations carry out their activities in Armenia in three main directions: through websites, social networks, street events, films, discussions.
According to Ayvazyan, the danger lies in the fact that in the public field many organizations and political movements, financed by the Soros Foundation, at the right time can be used to destabilize the domestic political situation in the country and send it to the right customer.
