ArmInfo. The XV International Theater Festival High Fest with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia will be held from 1 to 8 October. The jubilee 15th High Fest will be held under the slogan "We are 15 years young".
This year, 250 people from 20 countries, such as Great Britain, Brazil, Italy, Bulgaria, Sweden, Poland, Israel, Germany, Greece, Kazakhstan, Russia, Iran, Georgia, etc. will take part in the festival. The festival will be held on 12 theatrical stages in Yerevan, as well as on open air. Within the festival this year, the audience will see more than 50 dramatic, musical, dance, puppet shows. Within the framework of the festival traditional masterclasses with the participation of eminent theater figures will take place. Guests of the festival will conduct master classes.
The most significant performances at the festival will be the performances of Tempus Fugit by the German theater Chi Tula Limnios and the play Know You and You by the British Kandoko theater. From the Armenian theaters, the performances of the Hovhannes Tumanyan Puppet Theater, the Chamber Theater, the Small Theater and the Migr Theater were also included in the main program of the festival. Opening of the festival will take place in the Drama Theater. K. Stanislavsky from the presentation "Yakish and Pupche" drama theater Sukhumi (Georgia). From 6 to 8 October in Yerevan, IETM (international network of performing arts) meeting "Caravan Tbilisi-Yerevan 2017" will be held. The purpose of the meeting is to contribute to modern Armenian executive art, as well as to choose partners for further assistance. Note that the entrance of foreign performances will be free.
The International Theater Festival High Fest was first held in 2003. The president of the festival is Arthur Ghukasyan. High Fest - the main, not counting Moscow, a theater festival on the territory of the former USSR.
