ArmInfo."It is not enough to hold meetings, it is necessary to discuss the ideas expressed and implement them," Archbishop Khoren Tohramadjyan, head of the Diocese of the Armenian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, said at the briefing of the 6th All-Armenian Forum Armenia-Diaspora.
"Such meetings should be more businesslike, they should not be of a purely formal nature," the archbishop said, adding that special attention should be paid to the role of the diaspora.
According to the archbishop, the Diaspora is under threat of assimilation, and gradually wears out. "I want to say about one important thing, recently I see frustration and indifference among Armenian migrants who have become part of the Diaspora, they are trying to stay away from their homeland. And obviously, this does not indicate anything good, so we are not we can achieve good results, "- said the archbishop.
He noted that it is necessary to put aside his "I" and his own interests, personal rivalry, and put the interests of the motherland at the center of the matter. "We must make the impossible possible and help the homeland," concluded Tohramajyan.
