Putin and Sargsyan checked watches in Sochi

During the working visit to Russia in Sochi, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, with whom he discussed issues concerning the agenda of Armenian-Russian relations and cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats. The Armenian leader touched upon the implementation of the agreements reached during his official visit to the Russian Federation in March this year. 

As the press service of the Armenian leader told ArmInfo, Sargsyan  and Putin also discussed the integration processes developing within  the framework of the EAPC and CSTO, exchanged views on topical  international and regional issues, including the resolution of the  Nagorno-Karabakh conflict."We celebrate good dates in the framework  of our cooperation this year, 25 years from the establishment of  diplomatic relations, and in a few days, on August 29, will be 20  years since the signing of our key treaty on friendship and strategic  cooperation. Russia has been strengthened in the most serious way  both among sovereign states, we have maintained an intensive  political dialogue, we are cooperating on a bilateral basis and in  the sphere of economy, security and military affairs. We interact   within international organizations and integration of our  organizations ", - Putin said. 

In his turn, the Armenian leader noted in a few days that the two  countries celebrate the 20th anniversary of the signing of the treaty  on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance.

"We are waiting for the autumn of the chairman of the Russian  government in Armenia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister  Manturov, as part of a large delegation of businessmen and state  administrations in the framework of the second international forum on  Eurasian cooperation. Just the other day, meetings of the three most  important bilateral commissions took place - on military-technical  cooperation, on trade- economic and parliamentary cooperation. In  autumn, Days of Armenia will be held in Russia. It is very important  that the geography of events that will be held within the framework  of the Days of Armenia is not limited to the Russian capital alone.  Events will be held in 13 cities of Russia.
