Works on extinguishing some  fire sources  in Khosrov forest are in  progress

ArmInfo.Exploration from the air found on the territory of the state reserve "Khosrov Forest"  smoldering foci. The rescue teams of the special purpose of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia are carrying out final works to eliminate the fire.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency  Situations, the reconnaissance carried out an hour earlier revealed  smoldering foci in hard-to-reach areas of the forest (on the land  road), where a special group of the Ministry of Emergency Situations  was delivered by a helicopter of the Armenian Defense Ministry.  "According to the data of the Armenian Hydrometeorological Service,  the air temperature is expected to rise during the day, in order to  rule out the re-ignition and to ensure the extinction of the  smoldering foci, the special plane of the Russian Ministry of  Emergency Situations Il-76 will continue its work until the final  elimination of the fire," the Ministry of Emergency Situations of  Armenia said.

Earlier, ArmInfo informed that in order to clarify the situation in  the Khosrov Forest and to detect possible fires in the situation at  09:00 on August 18, the helicopter of the Armenian Defense Ministry  carries out reconnaissance from the air. According to the situation  for today, the Emergency Situations Ministry of the Ministry of  Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Il-76 made 16 sorties  and discharges of water
