ArmInfo. The Armenian government presented an anti-corruption strategy for 2017-22.

In particular, the document notes that in the fight against  corruption the Armenian government plans to develop an  anti-corruption institutional system for the creation and launching  of an anti-corruption autonomous body corresponding to international  legal standards and requirements until 2018, by the end of 2018 to  take measures to continue implementing the anti-corruption strategy,  stressing necessity of incorruptibility of officials. The government  plans to develop a new effective anti-corruption, long-term strategy  in defining targets for the elimination of corruption. Until the end  of 2019, it is planned to expand the list of persons representing the  declaration on property and income. By the end of 2019, it is planned  to clarify at the legislative level the amount of corruption crimes  and offenses. By the end of 2021, the normative system for assessing  the impact on fighting corruption will be improved. Until the end of  2018 institutes of informers will be introduced and practical  procedures for implementing the institute will be provided. It is  also planned to create a single electronic program, in which it is  possible to transmit anonymously information about corruption crimes.  Until the end of 2018, measures will be taken to ensure transparency  in the extractive industries. Until the end of 2020, the possibility  of investigating anti- corruption crimes by one structure will be  considered. To improve the business environment and to protect the  rights of businessmen, the Armenian government plans to complete the  development of the Law on the Protection of the Rights of  Entrepreneurs before the end of 2017 and submit it to the National  Assembly and, before the end of 2018, establish an institute for the  protection of the rights of entrepreneurs.
