ArmInfo.Rostelecom has announced a strategy of cooperation with the Armenian messenger Zangi, within which the functions of a free call, video call or messages via Zangi messenger will now be available on the screens of Smart-TV Rostelecom. This is stated in the company's official announcement. "The beginning of today's cooperation is unique in Armenia, because we are the first and only who, in this format, through their television program, have formed the opportunity for communication for their subscribers.
At the same time, special importance is attached to the technological advantages of the Zangi messenger, which are regularly improved, making the application more interesting not only for Armenian but also for foreign users," said Hayk Faramazyan, General Director of Rostelecom- Armenia, noting that the joint service has already passed testing stage.
Vahram Martirosyan, the founder and general director of Zangi, noted that the cooperation with Rostelecom will allow the company to enter new markets in a new format, adding: "I can assure you that the Zangi application is competitive both in Armenia and abroad, even among the innovative technologies. It is noteworthy that already we have registered 1.5 million official users, and the number of downloads per day reaches thousands".
To note, Zangi, created in Armenia in 2013, is an application for free HD voice and video calls.

The number of Internet users exceeds 10.9 million, and pay-TV subscribers - 7.7 million.
