ArmInfo. A native of the village of Semenovka in the Beskaragai district of the Semipalatinsk region of Kazakhstan, 93-year old veteran of the Great Patriotic War Bekbaev Asylkhan believes that the war of 1941-45 brought a lot of grief and misery, and today everything must be done to avoid new similar events.
As the veteran told from the rostrum of the International Forum of Winners, "The Great Victory, gained by unity: the courage of the front the resistance of the rear", he gave 10 years of his life to army, four of them were at the front. "I went through all of East Prussia, left many comrades there. This war took many lives, many did not live to see the world. We had to walk on foot and crawl to East Prussia because in those days our country did not possess any kind of super technology. He was seriously wounded at the front, lay in the hospital for more than a month. I was courted by a girl from Belarus Tatiana Novikova. For a long time I lay in the hospital, I could not go home. And then I decided to send a letter home, in which I wrote: "I can not come, they do not let me go. Allow me to marry. " And the answer came to me: "We allow you to marry, but with the condition that you bring her to Kazakhstan." So I married my Tatiana, "says the veteran with nostalgia in his eyes:" After the marriage, I took my Tatiana to my native village and left her there, because I received an order to return to the ranks of my own army. And while I was serving, my Tatiana learned Kazakh, learned how to prepare our national dishes, and mastered our way of life. This was my Tatiana. And now lies my Tatiana in a Muslim cemetery," Bekbaev said bitterly. At the same time, he added that today it is necessary to be united in our desire to prevent new wars like the Great Patriotic.
