Tigran Atanesyan's and Armen Soghomonyan's aggression reason towards the lawyers is the intolerance to any criticism from Lawyers' Chamber Leader Ara Zohrabyan, lawyer Yervand Varosyan stated during the conversation with ArmInfo's correspondent on April 27, commenting the aggression incident towards his colleagues.
He could not name the concrete reason of aggression, however, according to him, the reason could be criticizing post in Facebook. "But the main reason is that Lawyers' Chamber head Ara Zohrabyan does not bear criticism at all. He set dictatorship in the Chamber, demands absolute inclination and does not bear any dissidence, and if someone dares to contradict or criticize him, publicly point to the fact that his relatives and friends began to work in the Chamber, there are special vacancies opened for them, receives this kind of destiny. And if earlier Zohrabyan was satisfied with ordered articles in address of lawyers, then started to implement administrative fines towards them, now started lynching. If this all is not eliminated, then the situation will escalate", Varosyan stressed.
Currently the Lawyers' Chamber holds closed meeting on the fact of the incident, the press secretary of Zohrabyan Tsovinar Khachatryan condemned the violence from his name, assuring that the guilty will be punished.
To note, earlier the lawyer Tigran Atanesyan on his Facebook page wrote that he with his colleague Armen Soghomonyan in his office was attacked by the director of Lawyers' School Simon Babayan, Chamber's Head advisors Vrezh Khachikyan and Gevorg Mkrtchyan, and someone known as Arsen. Atanesyan noted that he has no serious injuries, however Soghomonyan suffered stab wounds. He also added that the police conducts investigation.
