Yerevan Elders Council elections race  starts  today 

ArmInfo.Yerevan Elders Council elections race  starts  today in Armenian capital, within the participation of three political powers: the Yelq bloc lead by  law  maker Nikol Pashinyan, Zaruhi Posstandjyan's Yerkir Tsirani party and  Republican Party presented by  Taron Margaryan. 

According to Vice Speker  Edward Sharmazanov, who is also the head of  the Republican Party Electoral Staff, RPA will go  to the elections  with a slogan " In the name of Yerevan". According to him, the RPA  will start its campaign from the Erebouni community of Yerevan. The  campaign will be held every day after 18:00 except April 24. "We  choose the traditional path  of pre electoral campaign . Our  candidate will held up to 6 meetings with   Yerevan habitants every  day," Sharmazanov clarified.  According to him, during these  meetings, the RPA program will be presented in respect to Yerevan  urban development, as well as the works implemented during recent. He  stated also, that from today approximately 460  polling sub stations  of RPA will be opened all over the territory of Yerevan. " We are not  intended to politisize the pre electoral campaign and we stand for  fair and civilized competition, respecting our competitors, "  Sharmazanov added. 

To mention, the Yelq bloc will  start its pre electoral campaign  on  18:00 with a march  from Yeritasardakan subway station to the  Northern Avenue, where a meeting-concert will be held at 19:00.   Yerkir Tsirani Party will start its campaign with a bicycle race  starting at 19:00 from the Freedom Square.
