ArmInfo.The Investigation Committee of Armenia is conducting an investigation in the criminal case on the destruction of the vineyards of the villagers as a result of the shelling by the enemy the Aigehovit community of the Tavush region of Armenia. The press service of the IC told ArmInfo.
"On March 22, 2017, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces shelled the bordering Armenian village of Aigehovit on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border. As a result of the fire, a fire broke out in the fields, and vineyards of more than 40 villagers, with a total area of 20.72 hectares, were also destroyed. According to preliminary data, the damage the villagers suffered was 10.270.00 AMD. In connection with the incident on April 3, a criminal case was opened on the grounds of Article 185 p. The investigation is underway," the ministry's statement reads.
