ArmInfo. In Yerevan a solemn meeting took place at the theatre named after K.S. Stanislavski on the occasion of 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Armenia. At the beginning of the meeting the participants honored memory of Petersburg underground blast victims with a minute of silence.
In his speech, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volyinkin stated that the relations between Russia and Armenia are being built on the strong historical basis, in different humanitarian and family relations and deep bilateral respect. "I am sure that our nations will continue to pass the road together, started by our ancestors, and will provide our descendants safe world and prosperity", the Russian diplomat said.
To note, that concert planned on the occasion of 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Russia was cancelled because of the explosion in Petersburg underground.
On April 3 over 2pm Moscow time between two subway stations a blast took place. According to the preliminary data uninstalled explosive equipment was launched in the wagon and caused 14 people death. According to Ministry of Health data, more than 40 people were injured.
