Levon  Ter-Petrosyan:  It would be a political illiteracy to expect  any other results of elections 

ArmInfo.Under the conditions when the vast majority of national assets is accumulated in any legal or illegal ways in hands of several families, and the society is abandoned and lives in poverty, it would be a political illiteracy to  expect any other results of elections. This was stated by Frist  Armenian President Levon Ter-Petrosyan, the leader of Congress-PPA  bloc, in his comments on elections results at ilir.am 

"We should only expect the Republican  Party, Prosperous Armenia  Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun and Yelq top develop the economy of the  country, to provide bln dollars of investments, to strengthen the  army, to cancel emigrqation and to settle the main problem - Karabakh  conflict," he mentioned. 

He stated also that Armenian national Congress could set the Karabakh  issue as the first priority of political Agenda of Armenia, which is  not  disproved even by political opponents of the Party. "Our second  achievement is the consolidation and the "Peace and neighborhood""  slogan, which will  be expanded for sure," Ter-Petrosyan said.  

Addressing a word to ANC followers, he said that the political agenda  did not change with the results of elections. "We have a lot of work  to do in respect to the peace idea spread, because we have no other  guarantees of existense, security and prosperity of Armenia and  Artsakh, except the peace and neighborhood. Peace now, and not after  new victims and blood," Ter-Petrosyan said.  To mention, CEC  generalized preliminary final results of parliamentary elections  on  basis of data from all 2009 poll stations. According to the data  provided, the distribution of forces is: RPA-771.247 votes or 49.12%  Tsaroukyan bloc-428.965 or 27.32%, Yelk bloc 122.049 or 7.77%, ARFD  103.173 or 6.57%/ Armenian Revival-58.277 or 3.71%, ORO-32.054 or  2.07%, Congress PPA -25.957 or 1.65 %, Free Democrats - 14.746 or  0.9%, Communist Party 11.745 or 0.75 %. The ruling Republican Party  will receive 55 mandates, Tsaroukyan-30, Yelk-9, ARFD-7
