ArmInfo. The Initiative "Observer citizen" which implemented observation mission yesterday during parliamentary elections in Armenia registered violations during the voting.
As the initiative member Sona Ayvazyan informed, 3112 independent observers participated in the mission, they were present in 1521 polling stations, where 2131 violations were registered. "On 1243 violation preliminary clarifications are being processed which showed that 287 of them have common characteristics (failure of equipment, congestion of people and cars at polling stations), 186 are registered during prepare stage and poll station openings (stations' equipment and commission's work), 640 cases of directing the voters and 130 violations during votes counting", she noted. "Multiple cases of open voting were registered, scuffles in poll stations, wrong voting and many others that of course affected the results of voting", noted another member of the Initiative, activist Daniel Ionesyan, adding that currently is unable to say how much.
To note, according to Central Electoral Commission, the distribution of forces is: RPA-771.247 votes or 49.12% Tsaroukyan bloc-428.965 or 27.32%, Yelk bloc 122.049 or 7.77%, ARFD 103.173 or 6.57%/ Armenian Revival-58.277 or 3.71%, ORO-32.054 or 2.07%, Congress PPA -25.957 or 1.65 %, Free Democrats -14.746 or 0.9%, Communist Party 11.745 or 0.75 %.
The ruling Republican Party will receive 55 mandates, Tsaroukyan-30, Yelk-9, ARFD-7.
