ArmInfo.Armenia is satisfied with its choice made with Eurasian Economic Union. This was stated by Vardan Toghanyan, the Ambassador of Armenia to Russia, while delivering the interview to Russian Izvestia daily.
According to him, Yerevan has made a realistic choice for Eurasian integration. " If we take a look at the statistics, we could see that we have a certain growth of commercial turnover after joining the EEU.
"We have to do a plenty of work still to in respect to formation of new union. It is very important for Armenia, having no common borders with Russia, and lives under conditions of long and illegal blockade initiated by Turkey and Azerbaijan," the Ambassador stated mentioning the matter is the establishment of new transnational body. Many responsibilities of EEU member countries, for example, technical and customs related, are passed to the transnational body, which is the Eurasian Commision. To be short, Armenia is satisfied with own choice," the head of Armenian diplomatic in RF mission mentioned.
