Pre-electoral bloc "Congress-People`s Party" will hold march of peace  on March 29

ArmInfo. The pre-election bloc "Congress-People's Party" will march on March 29 from Liberty Square. Levon Zurabyan, the head of the headquarters of the bloc, told a  press conference in Yerevan on March 23.

He called on citizens, regardless of their political views, to take  part in the rally, since the message of this event will be the peace  for which the bloc represented in the pre-election period stands. At  the same time, the politician added that the bloc will support the  implementation of the peace program, even if it can not win the  election. In this context, the candidate emphasized that the  political force intends to support the power that will agree to  implement the peace program. "If not, then we will apply pressure,  since we consider the settlement of the Karabakh conflict as a  priority", the politician stressed.

Zurabyan also touched upon the response after the speech of the first  president and leader of the bloc Levon Ter-Petrosyan on the Public  Television of Armenia regarding the plan he had voiced about mutual  concessions in the Karabakh settlement. In particular, the head of  staff called on the vice-speaker and member of the Republican Party  of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov to refrain from praising the first  president, since, in his opinion, this negatively affects the  authority of Ter-Petrosyan. He considered the criticism of the first  president ridiculous, and advised the ruling party to apologize to  the people for the deplorable situation in which the Armenian society  turned out because of their activities.

To note, the last interview of the first president Levon  Ter-Petrosyan, in which the idea of territorial concessions was again  a red thread, caused a wide public response. Eduard Sharmazanov, Vice  Speaker of the Parliament, also reacted to this, who noted that the  Karabakh settlement is now based on very different documents than  during the reign of the first president.
