Republican Party condemns incident in Djrarat village

ArmInfo.The Republican Party condemns the incident in Djrarat village, said the Press Secretary of RPA Eduard Sharmazanov in an interview to ArmInfo.

"For the RPA the crime has no relation to the Party. Nobody has right  to consider himself above the law.  Moreover, the representatives of  the ruling Party must show high responsibility and temperance",  stated Sharmazanov, at the same time calling on not to come up with  statements while the Law enforcement agencies did not provide details  of the incident. 

To note, on March 12 in the village of Dzhrarat there was an incident  between the supporters of the ORO and the head of the rural  administration Lernik Yeransyan. As ArmInfo was told in the  Investigative Committee, on March 12 at 18:25 from the hospital of  Vagharshapat the police received a message that Lernik Yeranosyan  addressed them for medical help with numerous injuries to the head,  stomach and chest area. The latter reported that he was beaten in the  village of Dzhrarat. "The same day in the vicinity of 19:40 from the  same hospital, it was reported that Miqael Babayan addressed the  hematoma in the face area with the help of medical assistance, who  also reported that he was injured as a result of a brawl in the  village of Dzhrarat. According to preliminary information, on March  12 at about 4:00 pm in the village of Dzhrarat, Armavir region, a  brawl took place, which turned into a fight, during which the  above-mentioned persons suffered. When studying the facts, it turned  out that during the brawl Yeranosyan fired one shot into the air from  his pistol. As part of the incident, five people were subjected to  the drive, two more were guilty. Lernik Yeranosyan also made a  statement and explained the incident. Appropriate measures are being  taken to find out the motives for the incident", the Armenian Defense  Ministry's statement reads.
