ArmInfo.Armenian Parliament law maker Tigran Urikhanyan at National Assembly regular session voiced concerns regarding violations of electoral regulations by the Republican Party of Armenia.
"According to him, the RPA candidates make their relatives and friends to change their registration addresses and to register at the electoral zones they are proposed from. Besides, the sums of electoral bribes offered by such candidates, has reached six figure numbers. There are also many signals about administrative pressure and scaring. Meanwhile, RPA used to assure that these elections will be fair and transparent," he mentioned.
In response to this, Galust Sahakyan, the Speaker of Armenian Parliament, stated that anybody regardless any political position should fight against any irregularities. "And If you know what tools are, share the information with us please," the Speaker summarized.
Meanwhile, the Parliament Deputy Speaker, RPA Press Secretary Edward Sharmazanov gave a very interesting comment. According to his statement, the RPA candidates are the favorites in all the electoral areas, without any exceptions. Hence, they all will be elected in the parliament and there is no need for them to launch any manipulations.
