ArmInfo. The National Assembly of Armenia at its February 27 session ratified the Armenian-French Agreement on Migration Partnership.
According to Gagik Yeganyan, the State Migration Service under the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development, the document was signed on October 27, 2016 in Paris. The nature of the Agreement is specific, because it allows nationals of four categories to enter the counter part country on a waiver basis. First that is concerned to students who will be able to continue their studies practice in France. The document sets requirements that students should meet to. Particularly, there should be a written agreement between the student and the University. The second category comprises the graduates of Armenian universities, who will obtain the right to get a professional experience in France. And the third is the category of young specialists (under 35), who will obtain a right to continue their work activities inFrance, within the compulsory consent of employers. And the last, fourth category, comprises Armenian nationals who are high qualified specialists, who will have an opportunity to apply their skills in France without any artificially raised obstacles. As of today, Armenia hasn't had such an Agreement signed with any country. And this is understood, because French-Armenian cooperation in the field of Migration has a pretty long history (starting with 2005), and an essential legal base 9starting with 2009).
