ArmInfo. On the margins of 15th British Film Festival, CEO at Nerdero Caroline Pires and CEO at Together Films Sarah Mosses, held courses for students of the Russian-Armenian University and pupils of Tumo Center for Creative Technologies.
The press office of Beeline Armenia reports that on Feb 20-21 Sarah Mosses familiarized the students of the Russian-Armenian University with the peculiarities of marketing plan creation and promotion of the films about human rights. On Feb 20-24 Caroline Pires delivered lectures for the pupils of Tumo Center for Creative Technologies.
"We are really happy to witness that the circle of courses and their nature is expanding with every passing year on the margins of the festival. We hope that digital technologies will support the Armenian youth in creation of visual effects and in movie production," Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin says.
Director at British Council Armenia Arevik Saribekyan says for her part that every year the British Council not only presents the best British films, but also shares the British experts' experience with the Armenian specialists and students. This year is no exception - the educational segment has given an opportunity to the students to see the latest trends in the film industry, she says.
To note, the British Council in partnership with the British Embassy Yerevan and Beeline in Armenia organised the 15th Anniversary Edition of the British Film Festival from 18 to 24 February. Ken Loach's film ''I, Daniel Blake'' open the British Film Festival on 18 February at 16.30 at Moscow Cinema. Seven films were screened during the festival. In Yerevan, the films were screened at Moscow Cinema four times a day. Admission was free. Beeline Armenia is the general sponsor of the festival.
