David Babayan: It is necessary to rename the Republic of Azerbaijan  to Sultanate

According to him, this appointment is an unprecedented step in modern  history. At the same time he stressed that such harmony and  understanding as is between the president and the vice-president of  Azerbaijan is only a fairy tale. "Azerbaijan proved once again, that  no one can catch them up, and even more, do not overtake. And they  continue to hold the flag of "champions",  he stressed.

Babayan noted with irony that Azerbaijan is an example of  "democracy", the height of perfection, a model of gender equality.

"However, despite the unprecedented, the international community may  not be satisfied enough. If only in first in the world, Azerbaijan  would introduce an institution co-ruler, it would have been a great  success" he said. At the same time the press secretary suggested to  increase immediately the number of vice-presidents.  "If the father  is the  President, and Vice-President is the mom, who are the  children? And immediately rename the Republic of Azerbaijan in  Azerbaijani Sultanate and to proclaim the President to Ilham the  First Sultan, and the sultan wearing a crown on his head", he said.  Babayan said that there are rumors already circulating that in Baku  the construction of two pyramids - Ilham and Mehriban has began, for  example Pharaohs Valley. "And Azeri composers began to establish  Opera" Ilham and Mehriban, "- ironically he said.

The press secretary said that the decision could set a dangerous  precedent in terms of nation-building and geopolitical processes,  since a large part of the population of Azerbaijan, especially the  intelectuals, are well aware that their country is turning into a  mockery and does not wish to participate in that. "As a result of  this, the political force, forced to rely on not the best part of  society, to quell the protest will tend to tighten the foreign policy  and deepen the anti-Armenian rhetoric", he concluded.
