Armenian Health Ministry: Electronic Health Care system does not  assume implementation of new mechanisms of funding 

ArmInfo.The issues of electronic health care implementation were discussed at the meeting of Samvel Margaryan, Armenian Health Care  Deputy Minister, with  heads of Yerevan Polyclinics. 

As ArmInfo was informed at the press office of the Ministry,  Margaryan accentuated that new instrument of health care statistics  filing does not assume any essential changes in  respect to the  system funding mechanisms.

The Deputy Minister told the participants of the meeting that  Armenian Government took a decision to pass under trustee management  the software support system and server infrastructure of joint  informational framework  of the health care system. The sole operator  of the system will be elected based on the results of the tender  procedure, which will provide the technical maintenance and operation  of the system, as well as will be responsible for the further  improvement and the  rearmament of the system. 

According to the justification of RA Government of January 26, the  development of the system software utility, drawings and design  works, shipment and mounting of the service infrastructure, as well  as launching of the pilot project in six medical entities of Armenia  were implemented during the years of 2014-2015, within the framework  of second project of the World Bank on reformation of Armenian  Private Sector. It is planned that the system will be implemented at  all the medical entities during the year of 2017. 

As Levon Altounyan, the  Armenian health Minister stated, the  electronic system will improve the transparency,  registrations  preciseness and   will decrease costs. The system will allow to rule  out useless researches, and to control  implementation of  government  secured treatment.
