ArmInfo. Armenian Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan assistants visited Arthur Sargsyan, a person, delivered food to Sasna Tsrer group during July events, at penitentiary hospital.
The representatives of the Human Rights Protector learned about the conditions of Sargsyan retention, his rights observance, and the medical treatment. They undertook a personal conversation with him. Sargsyan stated he claimed a hunger strike to protest the criminal case raised in respect to him.
To mention, Arthur Sargsyan was released on December 31, due to his health condition. But on February 9 the Court tok a decision to put him under arrest again. About 1 PM on February 10, Arthur Sargsyan submitted his statement on hunger strike and rejected to accept mailbox in written. Earlier ArmInfo reported that on July 26 Artur Sargsyan managed to pierce the police cordon with his car though the police opened fire on his car. Artur Sargsyan was able to enter the territory of the Patrol Guard Service Regiment seized by the Sasna Tsrer group and to deliver food to the rebels. Now Sargsyan faces the same charges as the rebels - seizure and destruction of buildings and vehicles, illegal keeping, sale and use of arms and ammunition. 2-month arrest has been chosen as a measure of restraint against
