Gagik Tsarukyan: Our people are envy - I came to carry my cross

ArmInfo. The Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan announced his readiness to cooperate with all political forces to country development aimed projects  modification, he said on February 10 during the 9th meeting of the Party.

He said that he is informed about the state problem, and moreover,  discussed it with economists and financial experts. "There are no  unsolvable problems. Yes, we do not have gas or oil, but we have  molybdenum", Tsarukyan said. wherein he noted the necessity of making  the small and medium business tax-free, to create an economy  development stimulation.  

 "It is necessary to increase the taxes and customs on natural  resources, what will increase the budget receipts by 30%. It is  necessary to make SMB tax-free for three years", said the politician.  Meanwhile Tsarukyan thinks that the citizens who are already in a  hard socio-economic situation suffer from the high rates of banks.  "Banks carry the Lombard functions. In several years the citizens  will have no houses, the nation will be bankrupt", said Tsarukyan.

He added that he returned to politics not for money or positions, but  because he has a debt to the nation. "I did not graduated Harvard,  but I have life experience. I have everything but I cannot stay  seated when people are in such a situation. We must be useful by all  means we can. Our nation is envy, if there is no envy we can reach  everything. I came to carry my cross. I always told in interviews  that among 10 finest, 2 are Armenians, we have the talant. Everyone  must know that we can win", he noted.

Tsarukyan also called his party members to respect other political  forces as only weak and jealous people insult. "An insult to you is  an insult to me and vice versa", he noted.

To note, Tsarukyan gave up politics after the confrontation with the  President Serzh Sargsyan, when he decided to join the radical  opposition. But on January 17, 2017 he said he is opening the closed  politics page and will participate in Parliament elections. Long ago,  ArmInfo referring the sources in high echelons, told that Tsarukyan  reached an agreement with the President on returning to politics and  consolidation to the joint bloc with Republican Party of Armenia  after the Parliament elections of 2017. Now, PAP negotiates the  "Unity" movement, socio-democratic "Hnchakyan" Party, Armenian  National Movement of participation in the elections with a part of a  single unit. The Parties "Alliance", "Araqelutyun" and "National  Unity" also announced the will to join the bloc, but Tsarukyan did  not react.
