Vartan Oskanian: Seyran Ohanyan is waiting for final formation of his  bloc 

ArmInfo.Seyran Ohanyan is waiting for final formation of his bloc to launch an active political fight, ex-foreign minister of Armenia, Solidarity Party leader Vartan  Oskanian told reporters on Feb 9.  

He did not refute the information that Solidarity, Third Republic,  National Self-Determination Union, People's Party and Democratic  Party of Armenia have some discrepancies. However, these forces will  come to a consensus, he added. At the same time, he denied the  information that the discrepancies arose because ex-defense minister  of the NKR Samvel Babayan's interference. "He takes no part in the  bloc's affairs, but I think he will express his stand. Babayan does  not deal with formation of the bloc's proportional list either," he  stressed.      

Oskanian noted that the name and the list of the bloc will be  publicized at the bloc's congress. He does not rule out that the bloc  may be headed by Ohanyan himself. "I have no objections," he added.   

He pointed out that the bloc does not hold consistent talks with the  Tsarukyan bloc. "However, we keep in touch with all the political  forces intending to run in the elections, because there will be a  post-electoral period and a possibility to form coalitions," he said,  noting that the bloc is negotiating with Heritage Party.  Oskanian  stressed the need to prevent any possible electoral fraud with joint  efforts. Diaspora will also contribute to prevention of fraud,  "however, the authorities will do their best to retain grip on power.  In case of large-scale fraud, there will be adequate reaction".
