ArmInfo. It is a must for Armenia to find a proper formula for the peace with all the neighbors including Azerbaijan, and all the resources of Armenian  throughout the world should be mobilized for that. This is written in Seyran Ohanyan's statement published at his FB page regarding the paths of Karabakh conflict settlement, which is, according to Ohanyan, one the fundamental problems on the way of state development of Armenia.  

" For the development of the our native country and for the peace we should  develop a new formula, considering foreign challenges and interests of superpowers," the statement reads. According to Ohanyan, the Karabakh issue is not an obstacle on the way of the coutry  development and peace processes. "Right opposite - the opinion  stating that Armenia cannot develop unless the Karabakh issue is  solved, is wrong. Moreover, this position weakens Armenian side in  the negotiation process." Ohanyan noted that it is not the Karabakh  issue to be the precondition for the country development, but the  country development, first of all - economic development, should be  the precondition for the solution of Karabakh issue. The Ex Minister  also considers unacceptable any back downs and senseless compromises  in the settlement process According to him, that will generate  additional risks of new war, and in that case Armenian positions will  not be good. 

At the same time Ohanyan states he is confident that the peaceful  settlement of the problem is available.  "We can come to an agreement  with Azerbaijan,but we should work hard for that, to create a  trustful environment, the negotioations process is impossible to be  continued without that. And the agreement with Azerbaijan is possible  just and only if Azerbaijan adjudicates the immunity of Nagorno  Karabakh," the Ex Minister states.  

He also accentuated that the keys to settle the problem are in  Yerevan and Stepanakert, which should find the way to find solution  with Baku within the condition of adjudication of Nagorno  Karabakh  as an international entity.  

What is to the army, according to the Ex Minister, it is a real  security guarantee for Armenia and Armenia people. " It is necessary  to continue improving the army,  being based on the development of  the science- oriented military- industrial complex,"  Ohanyan  accentuates.
