Upper Lars checkpoint open for all kinds of vehicles  

ArmInfo.The Upper Lars checkpoint is open for all kinds of vehicles with snow chains.   The Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that on  December 23, as of 11am local time, there are hard-to-travel roads in  Armenia. The matter concerns Vanadzor-Dilijan, Vanadzor-Stepanavan-  Alaverdi, Sotk-Karvachar roads and Vardenyats Pass.   

Saravan-Zanger, Aparan-Aragats, Talin-Gyumri roads, as well as the  roads in Shirak and Syunik provinces are partly covered with  black-ice.     

The source also reports, citing the Emergency Situations Department  of the Georgian Interior Ministry that the Stepantsminda-Lars road is  open for all kinds of vehicles with snow chains.
