ArmInfo. According to Zhamanak (Time) newspaper, the political field of Armenia is experiencing a process of creation of a new alliance around the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan.
The newspaper says ex-defense minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan will become the axis of the alliance. The newly-created alliance will include the Democratic Party of Armenia and the Solidarity Party. The source also notes that some politicians may leave the ruling Republican Party of Armenia and join the newly-created force in the near future.
To note, Seyran Ohanyan has recently announced his intention to return to mainstream politics to carry out qualitative changes in the public and political life of Armenia.
