There are heavy going roads in Armenia 

ArmInfo. As of December 21, 11am local time, there are heavy going roads in the territory of Armenia.   The press office of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations has told ArmInfo that Vardenyats Pass and Sotk-Karvachar road are heavy going. 

Vardenyats Pass and the Saravan-Zanger, Sotk-Karvachar,  Vanadzor-Dilijan, Vanadzor-Stepanavan- Alaverdi, Berd-Chambarak,  Maralik-Lanjik, Maralik-Artik, Vardaghbyur-Ashotsk, Tsovamard-Amasia,  Sisian-Kapan road sections are partly covered with black ice.  

The source also reports, citing the Emergency Situations Department  of the Georgian Interior Ministry that the Upper Lars checkpoint is  open for all kinds of vehicles with snow chains.
