A number of roads in Armenia are heavy going  

ArmInfo. As of December 20, 11 am local time, several roads in Armenia are heavy going. The press office of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations has told ArmInfo that Vardenyats Pass, Saravan-Zanger, Sotk-Karvachar, Vanadzor-Stepanavan-Alaverdi, Vanadzor-Dilijan roads are heavy going. 

Tigranashen Pass, Kanakeravan-Mrgashen-Nor Artamet-Nor Gegh,  Ashtarak-Aparan-Tsilkar, Alagyaz- Artik, Ashtarak-Talin-Mastara,  Arteni-Tlik, Sisian-Kapan roads, as well as the roads in Tavush,  Shirak and Gegharkunik provinces are partly covered with black ice.    

The source also reports, citing the emergency situations department  of the Georgian Interior Ministry that the Upper Lars checkpoint is  open for all kinds of vehicles with snow chains. As many as 77 trucks  have gathered on the Russian border.
