He noted that the month was marked with two important events: the first electric train was put to operation and the first experimental multi-modal cargo transportation from Europe to Iran by using SCR infrastructure was carried out.
Valko noted that the scheduled task of cargo transportation has been carried out by 105.1% in November. At the same time transportation on local directions grew by 10.1% or 12.7 thousand tons.
According to the data provided by the Director of the company growth was registered in such key indicators of work as average daily mileage and efficiency of railroad engine. Service speed increased by 5.3% compared to 2015 and reached 35.8 km/h versus planned 34km/h, while operating speed made 41km/h versus planned 34.9km/h growing by 3.3% y-o-y.
At the same time wagon turnaround declined: at the end of November the indicator totaled 2.7 days versus planned 2.8 days.
Touching upon the train time-schedule the CEO of SCR informed that in November 1030 trains passed by the railway, 10 19 of which according to timetable. Valko stressed that control should be improved on keeping the timetable.
The CEO of the company especially pointed at the security issues on the railway. He informed that within 11 months more than 39.4 thousand sleepers were replaced, 20 thousand of which are concrete sleepers and 10 thousand are wood sleepers.
According to Valko the top-priority tasks for the next year are completion of preparatory work for winter season and improvement of work for attracting new amounts of cargo transportation.
